Sample comments from past participants

  • “This week is like dying and going to heaven.  I have not been to anything so useful in many years- if ever.  Everyone was wonderful.”

  • “I was very pleased with the quality of the workshop.  Having three general activities—facilitator presentations of techniques and applications, sharing ideas with colleagues, and producing my own project—worked very well for me.  The model for this workshop should be used for future workshops.”
  • “It was a great opportunity to learn from other faculty members, to see what other departments are doing and to be able to talk to the IT professionals on campus. I enjoyed that we could work on our projects and we had to develop something… The support was fantastic.”

  • “This is the most productive workshop I have attended. It was long enough and diverse enough to cover multiple topics and allow for work time and application.  Support was more than adequate – the interns were very helpful, and the amount to formal presentation was sufficient. Good structure, ideal size of number of participants and variety of topics and projects.”
